Two Men Shot at Convenience Store

About 9:00 Sunday night the Glynn County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at One Stop convenience store at 3915 Darien Highway. Initial reports were that a male was shot and being driven to the hospital. With the help of Brunswick Police, the crime scene at the store was located and two men were found arriving separately at the Southeast Georgia Health System with gunshot wounds. 27-year-old Antwone Levore had a gunshot wound to the leg and 26-year-old Jaquise Gordon had a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Gordon was transported to UF Health Jacksonville by helicopter. Levore was also transported to UF Health Jacksonville by ambulance. 

Investigators believe the shootings occurred during an argument in the store parking lot. It is believed that Levore shot Gordon and then another male, identified as 28-year-old Rameel Connor also pulled handgun, shooting Lavore. Gordon was released from UF Health yesterday, and was taken into custody by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He is being charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and is being held in the Duval County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Glynn County. Investigators also arrested 29-year-old Marcus Gordon yesterday at a residence in Glynn County, and charged him with Simple Battery, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Tampering with Evidence. 

Investigators have arrest warrants on Rameel Connor, charging him with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
