Brunswick Man Critical After Being Shot

From Glynn County Police:

OVERNIGHT SHOOTING LEAVES MAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Tuesday November 27, 2018, at about 12:30 AM 22-year-old Glynn County resident Davonnis Johnson arrived at the Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus Emergency Department with multiple gunshot wounds. He told officers he was walking in the area of Ninth Street and Norwich Street in the Arco Community when he was shot by an unknown person(s). Mr. Johnson reported being driven to the hospital by an unknown person who picked him up, however, it was later learned he was driven by friends. Additionally, investigators were unable to locate any evidence of the crime at the location it was reported to have occurred. Mr. Johnson was transported via helicopter to U.F. Health Jacksonville in critical condition where he remains hospitalized.
