From Brunswick PD:
On October 10, 2018 at approximately 3pm, officers responded to the 1600 block of Gordon Street in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim, Christopher Bailey, 23 of Brunswick, Georgia. Christopher Bailey was transported to Southeast Georgia Health System where he succumbed to his injuries.
As a result of the investigation, detectives with the Brunswick Police Department were able to secure warrants for the arrest of John RenayWilson Jr. 18, of Brunswick, Georgia.
On October 11, 2018 at approximately 8:30 pm, John Renay Wilson Jr. turned himself over to the Glynn County Detention Center. John RenayWilson Jr. is being charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
