Library Upgrade in Massive State Budget

The Georgia House and Senate voted to approve the state’s 2018 budget yesterday morning. According to local Representative Jeff Jones, the budget includes the $2 million in state funds to renovate the Brunswick Glynn Public Library that was requested by the Marshes of Glynn Libraries Board of Trustees. The money is part of a record $25 billion state budget. The Glynn County commission recently re-pledged their support of the project with $1.5 million in local funds.
