Yesterday the Jekyll Island Authority heard a report from the National Golf Foundation assessing the island’s golf assets. The report said the condition of Jekyll’s courses and clubhouse did not match the other upgraded facilities on Jekyll. Suggestions included upgrading the Oleander course; combining Pine Lakes and Indian Mound into one 18 hole course; upgrading the Clubhouse and Grill; and marketing Great Dunes separately as an historic course.
