The Glynn County School Board heard a presentation from Brunswick City Manager Jim Drumm last week seeking support for the city’s Tax Allocation District proposal. If the TAD is approved, the school board and county would not receive any additional tax from rising property values during the TAD time frame. The school board was not 100% sold on the idea and wanted their staff to bring them more information before making a decision.
