Yesterday the County Commission gave Public Works Director Dave Austin the go ahead to issue Requests for Proposals for roundabout design for the intersections at both ends of the East Beach Causeway - at Demere Rd. and at Ocean Blvd. They also asked Austin to get more information regarding a two-lane roundabout at the King’s Way / Frederica Rd. intersection, along with cost figures for upgrading the traffic light and adding a left turn lane at that intersection.
