- Make finger puppets with scrap fabric
- Make an indoor hopscotch with popsicle sticks
- Create magazine collage art
- Build an ice palace out of sugar cubes
- Create paper snowflakes
- Build an indoor fort with couch cushions
- Make an indoor obstacle course
- Use air-dry clay to create snowmen
- Use laundry baskets as basketball hoops and have the kids try to 'slam dunk' their dirty laundry for point
- Scavenger hunt with household items (can help with clean up and the kids won't know their actually cleaning up!)
- Make bookmarks with construction paper
- Bake cookies
- Challenge the kids to see who can read the most books while at home during the winter weather
