A Glynn County school teacher has been arrested by US Marshals and charged with harboring a fugitive. 47-year-old Jennifer Higginbotham was arrested yesterday in connection with the Marshals’ arrest of Antonio LaFrancis Duncan. Duncan, 28, has been charged with felony murder in conjunction with the January shooting of Brandon Capers at Bamboo Lounge in Brunswick. Sources say Higginbotham has a relationship with Duncan’s father. The Glynn County School System website describes Ms. Higginbotham as a Special Education teacher at St Simons Elementary School. Higginbotham, who lists a Townsend Street address, does not appear on this morning’s Glynn County Jail population report.
A reminder that all citizens charged with a crime are innocent unless and until proven guilty.
