Two Women Escape From Glynn Jail, Are Re-Apprehended

Two women escaped from the Glynn County Jail this evening and were tracked down by Brunswick Police. Sgt Merritt with the help of K-9 Bob tracked the women to their hiding place under a house at R and Reynolds. The women had reportedly ditched their inmate uniforms while fleeing. The two escaped in a van with the help of a getaway driver who was also caught by Brunswick Police officers, according to Brunswick Police Chief Kevin Jones.
