Cap Fendig appeared on Straight Talk today to defend the county’s banning of alcohol on St Simons beaches this weekend in an attempt to shut down the annual “frat beach” event. When asked about the wording of the ordinance he offered to supply us with a copy before Friday.
The ordinance change should have existed at the time it was voted on but Cap didn’t seem to indicate that it was, so we reached out to county attorney Aaron Mumford, who supplied us with a copy of the ordinance.
