For the second year in a row CoastFest, sponsored by the DNR’s Coastal Resources Division, will be held virtually beginning October 5th!
CoastFest runs October 5th-7th through with three events each day at 8:45 a.m.,10:45 a.m., in the morning and 2:15 p.m.
The target audience is local students who can take a virtual field trip on the CRDs research vessel, the Reid W. Harris; take a tour through the age and growth lab, a virtual beach experience, an artificial reef lesson and view touch tanks.
Each event includes a live question and answer session and students can interact with biologists using YouTube. You can live stream CoastFest events at DNRcoastfest.org.
