Ellen DeGeneres Reportedly Fed Up With Relentless Allegations

Ellen Degeneres is having a tough time dealing with all the accusations she’s been facing.

In recent weeks, the 62-year-old’s former staffers have been breaking their silence on a number of unfriendly experiences they’ve had with the Ellen DeGeneres Show host. Most stories have accused DeGeneres of being mean and unkind to her talk show guests and staffers who work for her.

Now it appears the accusations are beginning to take a toll on the comedian. “Ellen is at the end of her rope,” a source reveals in an upcoming issue of Us Weekly. “She thought this was all just sour grapes from a few haters. But it’s not a passing thing — the hits just keep coming.”

As yet, DeGeneres has been finding solace in her wife, Portia de Rossi. “Ellen’s so grateful to have Portia in her life as a soulmate and a sounding board, but that doesn’t mean it’s been easy,” another insider told the outlet.

The first allegations against DeGeneres surfaced last month when beauty YouTuber NikkieTutorials claimed the host was “cold and distant” toward her when she appeared on the show in January.

DeGeneres also drew backlash from fans for making a tone-deaf joke in which she compared quarantining at her multi-million dollar mansion to “being in jail” due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The health crisis only stoked more damaging claims from DeGeneres' talk show crew, who had apparently been left in the dark with regards to receiving pay and job security ever since the show halted production back in March.

Things didn't get any better this month when her former bodyguard, Tom Majercak, opened up on the "demeaning" way she treats those in her inner circle.

“Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn’t even say ‘hello,’ or ‘thank you for protecting my mother, my wife, and me,’” he recalled to Fox News. “It’s bugged me for years. I see this person come across as being very enlightened and positive and awesome and everybody loves her and is in awe, and that’s really not the case when you meet her in person.”
