Woodbine Man Convicted of Molestation

From the DA's office:

District Attorney Jackie Johnson announces the conviction of 24 year-old Jeromy Truman Chandler of Woodbine for Child Molestation and Sexual Battery against a child under 16. The charges stem from a February 2017 incident involving the sexual assault of a ten (10) year old child. 

A jury was chosen on Monday, December 11, 2018 and heard evidence on Tuesday, which included testimony that Chandler had committed a previous sexual assault in Duval County. The Jury found Chandler guilty of Child Molestation and Sexual Battery. Sentencing will be held at a later date. Chandler faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty-five (25) years in prison. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Robert German.
