Police Solve Old Jesup Road Murder

From Glynn County Police:

On December 8, 2017 the Glynn County Police Department discovered 57-year-old Antoni Zalewski of Chicago, IL shot to death inside a home at 873 Old Jesup Road. Mr. Zalewski, who had only been in Glynn County a few days, was in the process of remodeling the home for resale.

Investigators have worked countless hours over the past year following up on leads. The hard work has paid off as police announce that arrest warrants have been issued on two individuals in connection with Mr. Zalewski’s murder. Arrest warrants were issued for 37-year-old Brad Austin Potter and 50-year-old Pamela Lynn Collins, both of Glynn County, charging them with Murder (OCGA 16-5-1(a)) and Burglary in the 1st Degree (OCGA 16-7-1(b)).  

Collins was served with the arrest warrants earlier today, and is incarcerated in the Glynn County Detention Center. Potter is incarcerated in Dooley State Prison on unrelated charges, and will be served with the arrest warrants at a later time.“The Glynn County Police Department has an excellent team of investigators under the direction of Captain Tom Jump”, said Police Chief John Powell. “It is because of their dedication to the community and compassion for the family of Mr. Zalewski that this case was solved” Powell said.Investigators are asking anyone with information on this investigation to call the Glynn County Police Criminal Investigations Division at (912) 554-7802.
