Police Break Up Theft Ring

GLYNN COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED FOR STRING OF THEFTS

 Wednesday, July 25, 2018, investigators with the Glynn County Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence at 232 East Ridge Drive. The search warrant was in connection with thefts in the Blythe Island area of the county. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized several thousands of dollars’ worth of items that areeither known to be stolen or suspected to have been stolen.As a result of the investigation thus far, 38-year-old Aaron Brown and 34-year-old KristinaBrown, both of Glynn County, have been arrested in connection with the following thefts:

06/17/18 – Theft at 134 Midway Circle

06/18/18 – Burglary at 1032 Blythe Island Drive

07/23/18 – Theft at 11 Retreat Place

07/25/18 – Theft at 244 South Teakwood Court

Aaron Brown has initially been charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Theft by Taking, and Criminal Trespass. Kristina Brown has been charged with Theft by ReceivingStolen Property.Observant citizens, in part, assisted in this investigation. The Glynn County Police Department encourages residents to keep a watchful eye in their neighborhoods and report suspicious behavior or activity. Investigators continue to comb through the recovered property and more charges are anticipated.
