GLYNN COUNTY RESIDENT CRITICAL AFTER WEDNESDAY EVENING SHOOTING
On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at about 9:00 P.M., officers with the Glynn County Police Department responded to a report of a person shot in the 1000 block of Lake Drive. Officers arrived to find 33-year-old Glynn County resident John Dusty Evans laying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel began treating Mr. Evans for his injuries, and he was initially transported by ambulance to the Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus. Mr. Evans was transferred to UF Health Jacksonville, where he remains in critical condition.Investigators worked throughout the night investigating this incident. As a result of the investigation thus far, 20-year-old Ronald Anthony Bagley Jr. of Glynn County has been arrested. He is initially charged with Aggravated Assault.The investigation into the shooting of Mr. Evans continues by the Glynn County Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, and additional charges are anticipated.
