Last Friday Representative Jeff Jones presented a proclamation from the state General Assembly to Coach Ashton Stripling and members of the Job Corps 2018 men’s basketball team honoring them for winning their third National Championship in a row. Coach Stripling, who has to field a new team every year due to the students graduating, has a record of 93 and 0 for the last three years. Jones invited the team to the Capitol next year for a more formal presentation in the state house and to meet the new Governor.
