The Glynn County Sports Hall of Fame held its 2018 Ambassadors program Saturday night at the Glynn Academy Auditorium to honor 24 outstanding high-school senior athletes, eight each from Brunswick High, Glynn Academy and Frederica Academy. Glynn County Sports Hall of Fame member Aaron Swinson returned home to serve as the featured speaker. Swinson is a former Brunswick High basketball standout who played at Auburn and professionally for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns. The Hall of Fame began its Ambassadors Program in 2015 and each year awards $3,000 in scholarships as part of the program. The 2018 Ambassadors $1,000 Scholarships went to Antonisha Davis of Brunswick High, Jack Podlesny of Glynn Academy and Jalaya Lewis of Frederica Academy.
