The Glynn County Commission will hold their monthly work session at 1:00 today on the second floor of the Harold Pate Building. The commission will hear from the St. Simons Surf Sailors and the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, both in regards to the renovation and upgrade of the Coast Guard Station beach parking lot. The commission will also receive presentations on dilapidated structures and renovations in the Tax Commissioner’s Office. Immediately following the work session, the county will meet with the Brunswick City Commission in a joint meeting to discuss the possibility of reinstating a toll on the F.J. Torras Causeway and the downtown Oglethorpe Convention center.
