Mel Baxter, President of the Brunswick Glynn County Development Authority, announced he will step down as head of the authority. Baxter first served on the Development Authority board and was then hired as President three years ago. Paulo Albuquerque, Development Authority Chairman, made the announcement yesterday and said the board has initiated the search for a new President. Baxter will remain until a replacement is found.
