Feds, Local Depts. Make Sweeping Drug Bust

The US Attorney’s office unveiled the results of a nearly 18-month investigation involving the BATF, Glynn County Sheriff’s Office, McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office. A total of 24 individuals are facing either a federal or a state indictment for their alleged roles in a drug distribution operation.

During the course of the investigation, authorities seized over 30 pounds of marijuana, crack cocaine, over $60,000 in cash, and dozens of illegally-possessed firearms.

Indicted as part of the distribution ring were:

John Eugene Overcash, 52, Brunswick

Kenneth Leon Bradley, 50, Brunswick

Jeremy McIntyre, 37, Brunswick

Richard Carter, 57, Brunswick

Darrius Merrell, 38, Brunswick

Andrew Jackson, 34, Orlando, FL

Keneil King, 25, Brunswick

Jessica Tabuteau, 31, Orlando, FL

Troy Crosby, 49, Hortense

Amy Manson, 37, Hortense

Edrin Temple, 39, Darien

Anthony Bernard Lewis, 46, Brunswick

Joseph Simmons, 48, Brunswick

Tommy Murray, 50, Brunswick

Clifton Foster, 64, Brunswick

Marcus Mungin, 33, Brunswick

Also charged by officials for Conspiracy to Purchase Marijuana and Use of Communication Facility in Commission of a Felony Involving Controlled Substances was 21 year old Kenneth Bradley, Jr., of Brunswick.

Six Brunswick residents were picked up for Conspiracy to Purchase a Controlled Substance and use of a Communication Facility in Commission of a Felony Involving Controlled Substances. They were identified in court papers as:

Dana Smith, 40

Clyde Underwood, 58

Sarah Myrick, 35

Antonio Givens, 46

Doug Coffey, 45

And Travis Collins, 39.

A seventh resident was also charged with the same offenses but is still at large, Eric Lashawn Hall, 45.
