After Marshes of Glynn Libraries Director Geri Lynn Mullis updated the Glynn County Commission Tuesdayon renovation progress at the Brunswick public Library, Marshes of Glynn’ Board of Trustees chairman Mike Martin thanked the commission for their support and announced that a the Trustees would be kicking off a fund raising program in the coming months. Martin explained the state and county funds, totaling $3.5 million, was construction money and the Trustees felt their upgraded library would need some new technology and books to make it a first rate facility. He said they would not ask the county for the money, instead they would be seeking private and corporate donations, along with looking for grant opportunities.
