Brunswick Officer Saves Newborn

On Monday afternoon Brunswick police responded to the Sidney Lanier Bridge where a child had been born in the back seat of a car. While officers waited for EMS with the mother and infant, the child’s heart stopped beating. Officer Martin Davis revived the infant by performing two finger chest compressions. The mother and newborn were transported to Southeast Georgia Health Systems.
