Perdue Opposes Drilling Off Coast

Speaking to the Golden Isles Republican Women Monday, Senator David Perdue said with the opening up of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to fossil fuel exploration, there is not much need to do the same along the Georgia coast. Perdue cited variables off the Georgia coast such as the gulf stream and tidal dimensions that make it different from other potential off-shore drilling areas. He said that drilling off the Georgia Coast is not a priority right now at the federal level.
