City Sidewalks Under Repair

The LaGrange, Georgia-based construction firm Caswell Brothers is currently working to repair and replace sidewalks around the city under the SPLOST 2016 referendum. This particular project is about $100,000 and include sidewalks on Albany St., Dartmouth, G St. and Crandall.  A total of $432,000 in SPLOST funds will be spent on sidewalk replacement. An additional $50,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation is also being used for city sidewalk improvements. All told, the current project will include about 3,800 feet of sidewalks and will take about two months to complete.
