For the first time in years the Glynn County Board of Education’s meeting schedule has changed. Superintendent Dr. Virgil Cole presented the change Tuesday night and it was approved by the board. Beginning in January, the regular meeting will be held the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. The public comment period will be held during this meeting. A work session will be held on the precedingThursday at 6:00 pm when the board will discuss action items on the regular meeting agenda. No public comment will be allowed at the work session, nor will any votes be taken. Both meetings will be televised and / or streamed live. The facilities and finance committees will meet on the Thursday prior to the work session.
