Officers from the Glynn County Police, Brunswick Police, Glynn Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Department of Community Supervision teamed up Wednesday night to deploy concentrated, high visibility patrols in high crime areas in both the city and unincorporated areas of the county. The effort resulted in eight arrests on various traffic violations and drug charges from misdemeanor marijuana to felony cocaine possession. Those arrested included: John Madson, Barry Dansby, Ward Matthew, Willie Nash, Rebecca Krizan, Lakeisha Danson and Tabahri Newberry. In addition, Justice Bady was picked up on a Fugitive warrant out of Alabama. The inter-agency group also checked on 10 probationers in their homes. These joint patrols will continue in the future.
