Meeting with Ecological Planning Group consultants Tuesday night, the countyâs Mainland Steering Committee for the comprehensive plan heard and discussed the results of the citizens survey. With just over 1,100 people answering the survey, the consultants said it was almost three times what they expected. They said the survey could be considered very accurate. Although this weekâs and next weekâs meetings were supposed to be the last, steering committee members said theyâd like to meet one more time, so the consultants have tentatively scheduled a joint mainland - island meeting in early January.
