Board of Regents Forms Committee to Find New CCGA Pres

The University System of Georgia Board of Regents recently announced the formation of two committees that will select a new president for the College of Coastal Georgia. The 14-member presidential search committee is a representative group of CCGA’s stakeholders comprised of faculty, staff, alumni, students, the college foundation, and the Brunswick community. Their responsibility will be the search for and screening of candidates.  A six-member Board of Regents’ special committee chaired by Regent Don L. Waters will make the final decision on the new president. Interim president Meg Amstutz, announced last month she will not pursue the position permanently.
