Ft King George to Host Annual Event

Tomorrow the Fort King George Historic Site in Darien will hold its autumn re-enactment and encampment from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The program covers much of the history of the area before the English took full control. There will be demonstrations of colonial life and skills, a working blacksmith shop, musket and cannon firings, live music, Native American tribal traditions and other examples of 18th Century history capped off with a battle re-enactment at 3 p.m.
