Last Friday the College of Coastal Georgia hosted “Let’s Talk Coastal: Take-A-Knee National Anthem Protests” which was attended by about 50 people including students, faculty, women’s basketball players and their coach and CCGA police officers. Most who spoke said they supported the players’ decision to kneel during the anthem including an unnamed faculty member and Roger Hodge, the women’s basketball coach.
