Man Shot by Police Charged

34 year old Kenneth Brandon Williams has been arrested on three felony charges including aggravated assault against a police officer, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Williams was shot Tuesday afternoon by Glynn County Police Officer David Sepanski after he ran from a traffic stop and displayed a handgun to the officer. Williams, who has six aliases and has been in and out of Georgia prisons since 2002, is reported to be in good condition at Shands hospital in Jacksonville. The GBI is conducting an independent investigation into the shooting at the request of interim Glynn County Police Chief John Powell.
