UPDATE: Police have confirmed the shooting but are releasing no other information. We are still hearing that a suspect is being pursued.
Details are sketchy right now, but a Glynn County officer has been involved in a shooting near the Exxon station at Exit 29, near the Dairy Queen. The officer, we're told, is fine, but a helicopter has been dispatched to transport the wounded party. We are also told that someone else has fled the scene.
