In order to perform utility work on one of the main power poles between Sylvan Dr. and Market St. on St. Simons Island, a portion of the southbound traffic lane on Frederica Rd. in front of Taylor House Interiors just north of the Sea Island Rd intersection will be closed next week from Monday, the 16th through Friday, October 20. The lane will be closed each day from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Southbound traffic will be rerouted to the center turn lane to accommodate a Georgia Power truck.
