Next Thursday, Oct. 19 is the deadline for workers in Glynn and four other Georgia counties to file for Disaster Unemployment Assistance to compensate for income lost directly due to Hurricane Irma. Any claim filed after the 19th will not be eligible to be paid benefits without extenuating circumstances.
