FEMA is currently hiring local residents for temporary positions related to disaster recovery following Hurricane Irma. The positions being advertised are environmental specialist, historic preservation specialist, administrative / finance specialist, public assistance specialist, public assistance site inspectors and public assistance administrative assistant. Candidates must be U.S. citizens at least 18 years old and must have a valid government ID, such as a driver’s license, state or military ID.
