Four Glynn County middle school students will be awarded $10,000 scholarships during the school system’s inaugural REACH Georgia Scholars Signing Day Ceremony at 10 tomorrow morning in the Brunswick High School auditorium. Initiated by Gov. Nathan Deal in 2012, the REACH program is a needs-based mentorship and scholarship program designed to encourage students, starting in middle school, to persist in their educational pursuits. The program is in 103 school systems with almost 1,200 scholars.
