A bond hearing has not been set for 51 year old Jeffrey Dewayne Herrington who has been held without bond since last Thursday on hit and run charges in the death of 18 year old Tashara Culbreath whose body was found Sept. 16 along the side of Highway 17 North. Bail totaling $5,552 has been set on four other charges including second degree homicide by vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license, willful obstruction of an officer and tampering with evidence. The Georgia State Patrol said Herrington was arrested after they received a telephone tip after the $2,500 reward was offered.
