Glynn Academy senior Maggie Zheng has been named a semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship program. Two other GA seniors, Matthew Merck and Bentley Long, were recognized for their outstanding performance on the PSAT. Nearly 1.6 million students take the PSAT each year to quality for recognition and complete in the National Merit Scholarship program. About 50,000 qualify each year. Zheng is among 16,000 semifinalists in the country.
