The Glynn County Commission meets this morning to consider Ceres Environmental, Inc. for debris removal and disposal services and to consider Witt O’Briens for monitoring of debris removal and disposal services from Hurricane Irma. Funding for both would come from the county stabilization fund and will be reimbursed 75% FEMA and 25% GEMA. According to reports the state could not come to an agreement with the Corps of Engineers for debris removal and now the six coastal counties affected by Irma must contract for these services individually.
