Glynn Eligible for FEMA Relief, But No Center Has Been Set Up

According to FEMA five Georgia counties including Glynn, McIntosh, Camden, Chatham and Liberty. have been designated for federal assistance. FEMA encourages individuals to register for federal assistance as soon as possible even if an individual has private insurance or has previously registered with another disaster relief organization. A FEMA claim center has not yet been set up in Glynn, however, FEMA will be going door to door in some areas of Glynn County. FEMA employees can be recognized by their FEMA vest and I.D. It’s best to file for assistance on line at disasterassistance.gov or call 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. seven days a week.
