The Georgia Council of Magistrate Judges has named Glynn County Chief Magistrate Judge Alex Atwood to its executive committee, replacing former council past-president Chief Magistrate Judge Connie Holt of Morgan County. After serving several terms as the House District 179 Representative, Atwood was elected to the local judgeship last November taking over the former Judge Tim Barton.
