School Board Considers Drug Testing

The Glynn County Board of Education is considering a drug testing program which would randomly test students in grades 9 through 12 who are involved in any kind of interscholastic activity. According to system athletic director Steve Waters the coaches are solidly behind the idea. Superintendent Dr. Virgil Cole will bring a draft policy back to the board at the second meeting in September.
