Man Fleeing Police Found by Drone

The Glynn County EMA and GIS departments used their drones to aid police in the capture of 27 year old Jarrod Lynn Chastain yesterday. Chastain was stopped on his dirt bike by county police about 10:30 a.m. on the Newcastle St. Extension near the county public works facility because his motorcycle had a cardboard license plate. He then fled and ended up on 9th St. which deadends at the Ga. Pacific mill. Chastain dropped the bike and fled into the marsh. The drones were called and within 30 seconds of being airborne Chastain was spotted laying down about 100 yards into the marsh. Police were guided to his location where he was arrested without further incident.
