Planning Commissions Make Comprehensive Plan Appointments

The Mainland and Island Planning commissions have each designated three of their members to serve on the county’s comprehensive plan steering committee: Odessa Rooks, Patrick Duncan and Ed Meadows will represent the IPC, while Gary Neville, Tim Murphy and Bill Edgy will represent the MPC. The county commission will vote on their appointments to the steering committee during Thursday night’s meeting, at which time the appointees who applied through the Blind application process will be announced.
