Brunswick’s new garbage collector, Republic Services is in the process of distributing new garbage and recycling cans for city residents. Both the garbage and recycling cans are dark blue, but the recycle cans have a light blue lid. The city commission approved the contract with Republic in June and the new company is preparing to take over from Waste Management when that contract expires this month.
