Tonight the Glynn County Board of Education will discuss options for the system’s cellphone use policy. Current policy dictates that cell phone are off during school hours but may be used for instructional purposes if allowed by the teacher. Phones are confiscated for non-compliance and must be picked up by a parent. Non compliance may also result in several days of Saturday school and in - school or out of school suspension.
