CASA Looking for Volunteers

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Glynn is looking for volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. Volunteers are trained and then appointed by judges to serve as protectors for children in difficult circumstances. They serve as a fact-finders for the juvenile judge, speak for the children in court, and monitor their situation during the life of the case. With more and more children entering foster care the need for CASA volunteers is large. Volunteers must be 21 years old, men and women are needed. The next 5-week training program will begin this fall for Glynn and Camden counties.
