20 year old Jesus Avila Pedraza of Hilton Head, South Carolina led Georgia State troopers on a 5-mile chase southbound on I-95 late Wednesday afternoon reaching speeds of 120 mph before forcing a semi off the road and crashing at the foot of the Exit 36 off-ramp at Highway 341 in Brunswick. Pedraza and his girlfriend 19 year old Danielle Duncan, who is reportedly pregnant, were both taken to the local hospital by ambulance. State troopers said Pedraza told them he was taking Duncan to a local water park. He had a valid driver’s license and no outstanding warrants so police believe he was ‘running just to run.’
